Wildey Sports Club

Sugar Bay Barbados recently donated a portable batting cage to Wildey Sports Club

Barbados Cricket Association’s 50 overs champions, Wildey Sports Club are even more prepared to develop cricket at their club, Barbados and the region. Wildey, was recently presented with the island’s first mobile nets by Sugar Bay Barbados at their Jeffrey Yarde Sports Facility grounds. In accepting the advanced piece of equipment, Wildey’s president Mark Estwick indicated that they were better prepared to lift their standard of training particularly with greater one-on-one sessions with players.

“Thanks to Sugar Bay this net system will help our programme immensely as the normal net system is more difficult to manage and this will certainly assist in the efficiency of our ground staff on training days”.  In making the presentation, General Manager of Sugar Bay Barbados Morgan Seale emphasized that his company was proud to assist the youth.

“This is our home and we are proud of Barbados and we want to make sure that we can help in creating facilities especially for young men and women to be better able to dedicate themselves to their sport. This mobile net will assist the cricketers at Wildey to better develop their craft and skills,” said Seale.
